Utah is well-known for its polluted inversions during the winter months.

It is said that tar sand oil is already being refined for CHEVERON gas-stations and Utah local gas station TOSORO, and is creating higher and even more dangerous levels of inversions in and around the Salt Lake valley. A North Salt Lake refinery is just one of a few other oil refineries around the state that is alledgedly refining tar sand.

Wednesday July 23, KBOO's Sekoynia Wright spoke with Jessica Lee a social media coordinator for Peaceful Uprising for an update on the protestors against the drilling development for tar sand in PR Springs, Utah.
