Earlier this year we hired Zeloszelos Marchandt to lead the Evening News and Public Affairs Department. If you have not yet, please join me in welcoming them to our community!
Zelos brings to KBOO years of experience in multimedia journalism and community involvement. They believe that “journalism and freedom of information is one of the most import components for change and maintaining the health of a people.” Zelos is committed to sharing the stories that matter to our communities because this has been their focus for years. Indeed, for the last several years they have “lead and utilized interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches facilitating assignments centering around local news, narratives that support our country's untold story and civic art projects that reflect early history as it relates to our current news threads.” I have had the privilege to learn more about Mx.
