Hip Hop 50th - pt 3: 1980 - 1985

For the 3rd installment of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary, we jump into the time machine and go to the era where rap is now on records! In 1980 it was new and a novelty, by 1985, it's starting to blow up. And, for the 1st time ever, rap is part of the record insdustry and is getting played on radio stations across the nation. It's not just in New York anymore.
