The United Nations Human Rights Council on February Fifth held an Intersessional panel discussion on human rights challenges in addressing and countering all aspects of the world drug situation. We hear from Volker Turk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights; Ann Fordham, Executive Director of the International Drug Policy Consortium; Christine Stegling, Deputy Executive Director, Policy, Advocacy and Knowledge Branch at UNAIDS; and delegates from Colombia and Switzerland.
