Susie and Pedro - Updates on Petition to Revoke the ICE Permit
On KBOO's August 25th News In Depth, Susie and Pedro share what their anti-ICE petition has taught them about Portland.
Portland City Council issued a permit in 2011 that allows Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to operate at SW Macadam Avenue in Portland.
Susie and Pedro wrote a petition to revoke this permit. The petition has gained over 17,500 signatures in the past six months.
City council has still not revoked the permit and has instead given many explanations of how long the process to revoke the permit would take.
