The fossil gas industry knows that it's being driven out of business because there are so many actual clean alternatives now to what the industry has deceptively dubbed "natural" gas. But instead of gracefully going away or transitioning to fill another niche in our energy ecosystem, such as district heating and cooling, the gas industry chooses to greenwash its dirty and dangerous product, by promoting so-called renewable natural gas (which is actually methane produced and collected at factory farms) and hydrogen, which is neither green nor safe either. But activists across the Northwest are calling out the gas industry for their deceitful lies and distortions.
