Spring has Sprung!
Sweet, beautiful country music, Baseball and Love are ON the air this Saturday starting at 6:00 a.m., during the three-hour broadcast of Swing ’n’ Country on KBOO-FM.
First Saturday hosts Graham and Robert Parish cover all the bases, beginning with Hour One, as Linda Ronstadt’s third album, recorded in 1972, graces our turntable — pops and scratches included.
Hour Two celebrates baseball, both with music and legendary play-by-play announcers. Also included is some ball and strike audio atmosphere from a Cactus League Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In Hour Three, Graham shares selections from his sister’s wedding reception playlist, which has more than 21 hours of music created by the future Bride and Groom. Graham has curated this playlist to less than an hour.
Through the magic of radio, the entire Swing ’n’ Country crew — Robert, Graham, Tabor and Luke — will simultaneously be on the air in Portland, and, at the same time, celebrating a wedding on location in Starkville, Mississippi.
