Host Marvin Simmons speaks with Hector Barajas of "Deported Veterans Support House."  The Deported Veterans Support House provides shelter for various deported veterans. They maintain a database for deported veterans around the world, promote media awareness of the plight of deported US veterans, advocate for legislative, work in partnership with employers to provide job training to put them on a path to self-sufficiency. They work in partnership with the ACLU and other legal counsel on the Benefits, Citizenship and Humanitarian parole, Post-conviction relief. They work with other local groups to provide direct services to Deported Veterans and their families; these direct services include a toy drive for the children of the deported veterans for the upcoming holiday season, weekly support groups and weekly religious services.
