In Arabic, "Isma'" (إِسْمَاع) means "hearing" or "listening." It refers to the act of perceiving sound through the auditory sense. In Islamic theology, "Isma'" can also refer to the concept of infallibility.

In Hebrew, "Shema" (שְׁמַע) is a prayer that serves as a central tenet of the Jewish faith. It begins with the word "Shema," which means "hear" or "listen."

Marium Mohiuddin and Zack Ritter are experts in interfaith dialogue, Muslim-Jewish relations and conflict resolution. In addition to providing historical and academic education, Marium and Zack will share their perspectives and personal experiences to create space for more understanding.

On this epidsode of Radiozine we will join Marium Mohiuddin, Zack Ritter, Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon, Ramish Nadeem and Lisa Patriquin to discuss bridging perspectives in understanding the Palestinian Israeli conflict.
