Portland City Council Votes Unaminously to Cover Trans Healthcare

The Portland City Council voted unaminously this morning to remove sexual reassignment surgery as an exclusion from the city's health plan.  The historic vote will take effect later this year when city employees are scheduled renew their health benefits.  KBOO's Rebecca Nay has the story.
