Mountain Mining Draws Opposition

In West Viginia, a march to protest mountaintop removal mining continues into its fourth day, as hundreds of activists march towards Blair Mountain, a historic site now slated for destruction.

KBOO reporter Jenn Chavez spoke today with Bo Webb, member of the Coal River Mountain Watch and co-founder of Mountain Justice, about the Blair Mountain march and the mining procedures that are being opposed.
