  • Jan Haaken interviews psychoanalyst Lynne Layton about psychoanalytic activism and a group within the American Psychological Association engaged in resistances to the U.S. military and state power. They talk about psychoanalysts involved in exposing the role of miltiary psychologists in torture, and a recent campaign to apologize to indigenous/Native peoples for the long history of oppressive treatment in mental health facitlities.
  • Desiree Hellegers reports from a Vancouver, Washington fundraiser for Standing Rock where keynote speaker JoDe Goudy  Chairman of the Yakama Tribal Council spoke about the connections between the historic struggle at Standing Rock and the ongoing battle to protect the Pacific Northwest and the Columbia River from the predations of fossil fuel companies bent on profit at any cost.  

  • Clayton discusses why the Left must go beyond protest to vision and action.
