Oregon Day of Empathy 2022
The 2022 Day of Empathy was held on March 30th. Mothers and children impacted by incarceration imagined a world without prisons; a world that centers care and not punishment in addressing harm; they reimagined justice. The Oregon event by Coffee Creek Correctional Facility’s Family Preservation Project and Dream Corps JUSTICE was one in a network of similar events held nationwide.
