Saterical News panel show featuring Portland standup comedians

Tune into KBOO at 10 pm on Monday to join a some of Portland's funniest comics breakdown on the news.

Monday's show will feature:

Adam Pasi (@ admpasi) Adam Pasi is a Portland comic who is quickly becoming among the most recognized names in Northwestern comedy. Born in Tacoma, WA and raised on army bases on the East Coast and in Germany, Adam’s unique outlook on life allows him to craft absurd yet relatable stories, culminating in admittedly ridiculous calls to arms. Adam has appeared on the IFC show "Portlandia" and has performed on the Limestone, Wenatchee, and Bridgetown comedy festivals. He is a regular host at Helium Comedy Club. Frequently intense, but never taking himself too seriously, Adam Pasi encourages all who’ll listen to join him in his mostly imaginary, but always amusing crusade against... well, something. Whatever it is, being loud and silly is the only way to fight it.

Ben Harkins (@thebenharkins):  Ben Harkins is a Portland based comic. His unsweetened perspective and deadpan delivery have made him an audience favorite throughout the PNW. His irreverent material attacks everything from the cost of groceries to the extinction of species. Harkins won the Portland's Funniest person (2024) contest at Helium and was voted #1 in Willamette Weeks Funniest Five (2019). He is a regular host/feature at Helium and has performed in the Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest and Savage Henry Comedy festivals, among others. Harkins has opened for some of the greatest including Beth Stelling, Kyle Kinane, Adam Friedland, Joe List and Christopher Titus. He hosts Chill N Fill Comedy every Thursday 8pm. He also directed and produced a hit Soap Opera called Intrigue- Public Access Soap Opera.

Nariko Ott (@nariko_ott)Writer for the punk rock humor website The Hard Times Magazine, and host of the comedy Podcast "What's More Metal?". Nariko was winner of the Portland's Funniest Person Contest and named one of SplitSider Magazine's "Top Up and Coming Comedians." He's been on the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, and the TreeFort Music Fest among others. Back in his hometown of Portland he was the host of “The Cool Kids” comedy show at the legendary Doug Fir Lounge and has been featured on EPIX’s “Unprotected Sets," “Laughs” on FOX, Spotify, SiriusXM, and iHeartRadio.
